About markerPrints

markerPrints turns a place that matters to you into a poster. Pick a spot, choose a shape, style the map, and download it as a print-ready image.

Everything happens in your browser

There is no account, no server and no database. Your project is kept in this browser's local storage, and the image is drawn on a canvas on your own machine — an uploaded marker photo never leaves it. The only things that go out over the network are map tiles and, if you use search, the text you type into it.

How it works

  1. 1. Spots — one place or several, found by search, coordinates, a city list, or by clicking the map.
  2. 2. Marker — an emoji or your own image, on a pin, a circle, or bare.
  3. 3. Shape — heart, circle, hexagon and more, or your own SVG. Square, portrait, A4 or A3.
  4. 4. Position — drag and zoom until the framing is right.
  5. 5. Style — six presets, each adjustable down to saturation and hue.
  6. 6. Export — up to 4× resolution, PNG or JPEG.
