1. Who you are buying from

2. What is being sold

You are buying the right to download the image files produced from the project you made in the editor. One purchase covers one project and produces up to two files: the map in its frame, and — if you turned the poster on — the poster sheet with your own words on it.

The files are images. Nothing physical is printed or posted; printing is yours to arrange.

The size and format of the files are whatever you chose in the editor before paying, and you can re-export the same project at a different size or format afterwards at no further cost.

3. Price and payment

The price of one purchase is EUR 2.50 or HUF 990, depending on the currency you choose. The price shown includes VAT.

Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. on their own checkout page. Your card details are never sent to, seen by or stored by us.

An invoice is issued and emailed automatically once the payment succeeds.

4. Coupons

A coupon code reduces the price by the amount or percentage it carries. A coupon may be limited to a number of uses, to a period, or to one currency; the checkout says why a code was refused.

A coupon that covers the whole price unlocks the download without a card payment. Coupons have no cash value and cannot be exchanged.

5. Delivery

Delivery is immediate: as soon as the payment is confirmed, the download is unlocked in the editor and the project is marked as paid in your account.

An account is required, because the purchase has to belong to someone and because the download has to remain available afterwards. You can download a purchased project as many times as you like, from any device you sign in on.

The images are drawn in your own browser at the moment you download them. We do not store the finished files, which is also why we cannot email them to you.

What your account stores is the project — the places, the frame, the style, the words — which is everything needed to draw the images again. Pictures you upload yourself are the exception: a photo used as a marker stays in the browser you chose it in, and no copy is kept on our side. If you open a purchased project on another device, or after clearing this browser, the poster is complete except for those pictures, and you will be asked to upload the same files again before generating. This is possible at any time, including after payment, and costs nothing.

6. What changes after you pay

Once a project has been paid for, the picture is fixed: the places, the frame, the framing and the style stay as they were bought. The words on the poster sheet remain editable, and re-downloading after changing them costs nothing.

If you want a different map, that is a new project and a new purchase. The editor offers to copy a paid project into a fresh one for exactly this.

Re-uploading a picture that was used as a marker is not a change to the picture and stays possible after payment, for the reason given in section 5: we did not keep the file, so putting it back is completing your purchase rather than altering it.

7. Right of withdrawal

Because this is digital content delivered immediately, you are asked before payment to expressly request that immediate performance and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This is set out in full on the right of withdrawal page, and the request is recorded with your order.

This does not affect your rights if what you receive is faulty — see the next section.

8. If something is wrong

If the download does not work, or the file you receive is not what the editor showed, write to [EMAIL CÍM] with your order details. We will either put it right or refund you.

You have the statutory warranty rights of a consumer under Hungarian law. Nothing in these terms limits them.

9. What you may do with the image

You may use the image you bought however you like, including printing it, hanging it, giving it away and using it commercially. There is no per-print limit and no expiry.

You may not resell the image as a stock file or template, and you may not present the markerPrints service itself as your own.

The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data, which is licensed under the Open Database Licence, and the emoji markers are Twemoji, licensed CC-BY 4.0. Both licences require the source to be credited on anything made from them. A bought file is generated with that credit printed on it by default; if you turn it off, crediting the sources is your responsibility.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

Complaints can be sent to [EMAIL CÍM] and will be answered within 30 days.

If a complaint is not resolved, you may turn to the conciliation body for our seat: [BÉKÉLTETŐ TESTÜLET NEVE], [BÉKÉLTETŐ TESTÜLET CÍME]. Conciliation bodies are free to use.

11. Personal data

What we collect, why, and who processes it on our behalf is described on the privacy page. In short: an email address, the projects you make, and the record of your orders.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. Every order records the version that was on screen when it was placed, and a change never applies retroactively to a purchase already made.
